The Chainsaw Man manga hasn't ended yet, the second part began pre-release in July of this year. Chainsaw Man is written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, known for his other Fire Punch manga. The series began pre-printing in Shūeisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine on December 3, 2018. The magazine's second issue of 2021, published on December 14, 2020, marks the end of the Season. 1 titled "Kōanhen". A preview of the second season, titled "Gakkōhen", is being made on the Shōnen Jump+ platform and will follow Denji to school. It begins pre-printing on July 13, 2022.

In North America, VIZ Media published the first three chapters of the online magazine Weekly Shonen Jump. New chapters are uploaded to the digital platform after the magazine break. The series has also been serialized on the Manga Plus platform since January 2019. In February 2020, Viz Media announced the release of the series.
