Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Episode 1 Synopsis
In 1868, a wagon carrying a couple and their young son fell off a cliff due to persistent rain. A thief named Dario Brando and his companions saw the crash and decided to steal all valuables from the body, leaving behind an ugly stone mask to begin with. His young son escaped the crash, but his wife died. Believing that Dario has come to save him, George offers Dario the right to ask for his "help." Dario accepts the offer.
Twelve years later, from his balcony, George looks down on his son, Jonathan Joestar (aka Jojo), who has grown into a little boy over the years. Meanwhile, in the slums, a bedridden Dario orders alcohol from his son Dio Bland and tells him to drink beer. Somewhere in the slums, Dio is playing chess with a rough guy. Dio wins and asks the man about the money he bet, but just after dropping the money, the man pushes Dio's face into the food. Dio can only protect himself when he grabs the money off the table.
In another area, two children are bullying a girl named Elina Pendleton by stealing her doll. Jonathan intervenes and helps the girl. She recovers her doll despite being beaten by thugs. Erina tries to thank Jonathan, but he refuses because he didn't help her out of gratitude, but because he's training to be a true gentleman to help those in need. Runs away, but accidentally leaves his handkerchief behind for Elina to read his name On his deathbed, Dario tells Dio about the favor George owes him. He gives Dio a letter telling him to go to the Joestar mansion so he can grow up on better terms. Dio stands in front of his grave and spit "Goodbye". He then promises to use Joestar to propel himself forward.
Shortly thereafter, Dio arrives at the Joestar mansion and meets Jonathan. Jonathan's dog Danny runs towards them, but without a second thought, Dio kneels on Jonathan's nervous Danny's chin. Dio then figures that in order to gain Joestar's wealth, he must mentally destroy Jonathan.Dio continues to bully Jonathan and claim control over him.
Since then, Dio has tried to completely destroy Jonathan's social life. At home, he not only performs better than Jonathan, but also shows much better table manners than he does, which earns him George's favor. must fight. Dio showed his superior fighting skills and was able to secretly put his thumb in Jonathan's eye.
Since then, no one in the area has participated in the activity because Jonathan is the "talker". However, he is reunited with Elina.
The two quickly become friends and eventually date. At one point, Jonathan carves his name and her name into a tree. One day, when Dio found out about Jonathan's affair with her, knowing full well that Dio showed up while Erina was walking to her house and stole her Jonathan's first kiss, she I kissed him strongly. Later, Jonathan finds out about this from Dio's colleague and runs to the mansion to confront him. Jonathan got the upper hand. As Jonathan hits Dio repeatedly, some of Dio's blood splatters on his stone mask, causing tentacles to grow and fall to the ground.Dio tries to pull out the knife, but George appears and tells him to stop, and both is sent to the room.
The next day, shortly after one of his butlers lit an incinerator containing a large box, Butler was shocked by what appeared to be a pop coming from within the incinerator. Jonathan, unable to speak to Elina at all that day, returns home to find his dog buried. Danny was in the crate and had burns. Jonathan immediately thinks of Dio, but has no proof. Later that night, Dio stands under a street lamp and thinks. Realizing that he had underestimated Jonathan, he decided to change his tactics.
