Overlord Season 2 Episode 1 Synopsis
The Captain of the Black Scripture was walking down the aisle after the meeting and found an Extra Seat. She asks him what the report is about, but he tells her that he should have given her the report. They then discuss the return of the Black Scroll and how they encountered the mysterious undead, as well as the disappearance of the Sunlight Scripture at the hands of a man named Ainz Ooal Gown.
In an unknown place, the dragon wakes up and finds someone nearby. The dragon turns out to be the Platinum Dragon Lord, and the person he found was his old friend Rigrit Bers Caurau. The two discuss how Rigrit endowed the "age" with magical items he received from the Dragon Lord. The Platinum Dragon Lord reveals that the force that corrupted this world has returned and is an evil force unlike its old leader.
In the Re-Estize Kingdom, the king and nobles discuss the kingdom's response to the Baharuth Empire's attack this year. After the meeting, Gazef and King Ramposa III discuss the event in private. The king believes that the attempt to kill Gazef is a trick of the nobles. Gazef says it is not necessary, but apologizes to his faithful servant for his helplessness. They are greeted by Ramposa's daughter, Princess Renner Theiere Chardelon Ryle Vaiself of Renner, and her bodyguard, Climb. Two married couples break up after declaring their love for each other. The king questions Gazef about the nature of the Ainz Oal cloak that saved him. Gazef vouches for the Magic Ingot, declaring it an ally.
Meanwhile, on the vast plains, Momon and Nabe face an approaching dust storm. Storm, revealed to be a Gigant Basilisk piloted by Hamsuke. When Basil walks past the couple, Momon cuts her hair. Momon finishes subduing the monsters and orders Hamsuke and Nabe to report their progress to the Adventurer's Guild as they return to Nazarick.
Now dressed in Ainz Ooal Gown, the lich hovers over enchanted Nazarick. He is greeted by Mare, who gives him back the Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown which he uses to teleport to the ninth floor. Albedo greets her seductive master and briefly stuns Ainz before the emotion switch activates. Ainz instructs Albedo to discuss the new information he received from the Adventurer's Guild. One is a map of the New World. Ainz explains the location of Nazarick and what he has learned about the sites and people around it. He also states that several Floor Guardians command the following. Aura Bella Fiora builds a base in the Great Forest of Tob. Demiurge on the hill of Abelion; Sebas Tian and Solution Epsilon work undercover at Re-Estize. Ainz asks where Shalltear Bloodfallen is and the scene boils down to a drunk vampire in the Sous Chef bar on the 9th floor. He is depressed by his rebellious spirit, but he can't help but think that his loyalty to Ainz is being questioned. Éclair Éklair Éklare who greets them tries to cheer up, but it only sends him into a deeper depression.
Back in Ainz, although Shalltear has repented her time from being brainwashed by the enemy, but Albedo still believes he deserves punishment. Ainz considers his opinion before turning his attention to his new area of interest: the Great Lake, where Cocytus is located.
In the Great Lakes, Zaryusu Shasha arrives at a fish farm to find his brother, Shasuryu Shasha. The two exchanged a few words and Zaryusu thanked his brother for helping build the farm. Shasuryu took out Zaryusu's settlement, but Zaryusu hesitated due to his status as a traveler. While his older brother is away, a undead man visits Green Claw Village, covering the sky. Describe their death to the lizards below.
