Shinobu Kocho, also known as Kochō Shinobu, played a significant supporting role in the fantasy horror manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba from 2016 to 2020. She made her first appearance during the Natagumo Mountain arc, where she confronted Giyu for violating the Demon Slayers' rules. Shinobu, the Insect Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, engaged with one of the Spider Demon sisters, poisoning and engaging in a verbal exchange. Her character was also featured in the 2019 anime adaptation of the series. She was depicted as the younger sister of Kanae Kocho and the adoptive older sister of Kanao Tsuyuri. The character's voices were portrayed by Saori Hayami in Japanese, Erika Harlacher in English, and Cristina Hernández in Latin Spanish.
